Lake Week Timeshare
We love our timeshare vacations and we tell you why
Over 10 years ago, my wife and I received a deeded timeshare vacation week from a friend who no longer wanted it nor used it. He paid over $8,000 for the deeded week at a resort in Minnesota, but he gave us the deed for "free".
We used our first week of timeshare by trading, or exchanging, into Treetop Village an Interval international affiliated resort in the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Wow! We were in our late 50's when this took place and were quickly hooked on this type of vacation. It was summer, and we were staying in a circular, two-story condo, on a hillside, over looking Lake of the Ozarks. We enjoyed this vacation so much that we asked at the front desk office if there were any timeshare owners willing to sell their summer timeshare vacation weeks. To make a long story short, we purchased our 2nd deeded timeshare summer week at a very low price. We then owned two weeks.
Fast forward to 2011. We are now in our late 60's, and we just purchased our 3rd prime summer week here in Minnesota at a prime resort only 2.5 hours from our home for only $400.
Is timeshare for you? It may or may not be. We give you almost everything you need on our website to make an intelligent decision. We believe in purchasing deeded timeshare on the re-sale market. We do not believe in the point system of RCI. We own two deeded weeks with resorts affiliated with the Interval International exchange system. We own one deeded week at a RCI Affilated resort but we do not belong to the RCI point or exchange program.

Today, 2011 we now own a 3rd timeshare deeded week at a prime Minnesota resort for only $400. We decided to write about the resorts we have visited and give the readers an up or down opinion of the resorts. We also include other facts and information about timeshare in general.
