Any Marriott hotels/resorts that have a separate bedroom and kitchen?
My wife and I are looking to travel with our 3 young kids this summer. I have a sizable amount of Marriott reward points. Normally we stay in Marriott Vacation Club resorts since they have a few bedrooms and a kitchen. Availability this summer at these hotels seems limited. Can anyone recommend any other Marriott locations, situated on a beach, that are not "standard" hotel rooms? We need some room to spread out and also have the ability to prepare meals within the unit. Thanks!

Yes. I work for Marriott. We have Residence Inn,Spring Hill Suites, and Town Place suites. Granted they aren't as big as say the Marriott Time Share Resorts. They even have a two bedroom in some of them. I have stayed in a spring hill suites around my b-day and it was quite nice looking. I have seen Marriott Mountain Side and Summit Watch for as two bed room and guest villas and They are a great subsitute for a time share. If you have any question just call 800.845.4226 and make reservations or ask availability. I think you might want to consider a travel package where your Air,Hotel and 25% a hertz car rental might be what you should do if you have a considerable amount of point. One benefit as of a couple of days ago is Marriott decided to get rid of their black out dates. So if any Marriott Hotel (sadly not a timeshare) have availability the hotel has to give it as Marriott Rewards. We are extremely helpful over at the 800 number I gave you.
